Interaxion, your supplier of floral and fruits waters

Floral waters are obtained by the same process as for essential oils: by water-steam distillation. The vapour, which is then enriched with the essential oil contained in the plant, is condensed in a coil that has been kept cold. The recovered fluid is composed of essential oil and water: the floral water is naturally enriched with traces of essential oils (about 0.1%).

Floral and fruit waters manufacturing process

Floral waters are also called “hydrolate”, but the extraction process is different: Hydrolate is a by-product during the production of an essential oil, whereas floral water is obtained directly by steam distillation of a dried or fresh plant.
