Manufacturing process of our organic palm-free vegetable glycerin

The oil is first fractionated by circulating hot water. The result is a water enriched with between 2 and 15% glycerin on one side and free fatty acids on the other.

This water is evaporated to give a 90% concentrated crude glycerin which will be steam distilled and then evaporated under vacuum. The result is a 99.9% refined glycerin which, once decolorized with activated carbon and filtered, will give the pure glycerin.
